Started on the teak slat floors

Well it's been a while sense last post. Business at Mid Valley Metals is taking much of my time these day's. My new business is growing almost as fast as we can react. I'm thankful for the growth and really enjoy the challenge.
I'm finding time to work on "My Mistress". I'm planning to have her finished this summer.
The engine's are complete and ready to start up.
I always have something being built at the shop, I'm working on the SS muffler brackets. I'll post pic's when I'm finished.
So long for now, send me a message.

Side by Side on Dollies

ENGINES FIT DOLLIES

They fit great. Port engine on and the STBD engine to go. I'm going to flush the transmissions and bolt them up. I'm hoping to start them soon.

Over 1000 visits to my blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My handy work!

It is amazing what you can do with AutoCad and a 4KW Amada Laser! I love the fact that I can get 2D machined parts off the laser and with a programable press break Wala! These are my throttle cable brackets and my engine dollies that will support the engines shortly. I have to change the seals out in the trannies and I'll be starting them.

prop's on!

I lined up the strut's today and had to add a 1/8" tapered shim under  the strut. they are in an secured. I also got my carborator levers done and on the carbs, I have designed the carb cable holder that will bolt onto the manfold. I got the engine dollies fabricated, the y will be going out for powder coat next week.
